The Sun Has Got It's Hat On... Hip, Hip, Hip Hooray!
I do hope most of you have had the benefit of some sunshine over the last couple of days, I almost pinched myself on Thursday morning when I drew the curtains back to see the garden basking in sunshine. After such a wet Easter weekend, it felt too good to be true.
It’s amazing what a burst of sunshine can do, here’s the effect it had on me;
- I found myself humming ‘The sun has got it’s hat on, hip, hip, hip hooray’ as I was getting dressed
- Lynda and I turned up to the office in almost identical outfits, we both wore the Chalk Ankle Grazer revealing a little bit of ankle...
- The kids and I went to our local café for an al fresco lunch and I spotted 4 women wearing navy and white stripe tops in one form or another
- And yesterday morning I pulled out my favourite 'summer' perfume which is light and uplifting and put my ‘winter’ perfume with its slightly heavier tones firmly back in it’s box!
Was it just me or did the sunshine change your mood or habit almost immediately, if so please share and tell me what you did differently?
This all makes me want to step away from black, grey and navy and embrace some colour and maybe the odd statement print so I am delighted to say we have ten new styles coming onto the website next week. I can't wait to wear them and I thought you might appreciate a sneak preview.
One of my favourite shots from our recent shoot is this one, as you can see it uses the same pieces from the top image but the girls suddenly relaxed and conveyed the mood of the shoot; fun, joyful and full of warmth.
If you’d like more detail on the lines coming in next week, take a look at our newly created ‘Coming Soon’ page. If you see anything you might be interested in, sign up to be notified when it comes into stock.
In addition, if you’d like to see what else you can look forward to, view our Lookbook and take a peek at the Crystal Blues, Tie Dye, Blue Lagoon and Watermelon still to come.
I hope you’re able to make the best of the sunshine whilst its here, according to my local weather forecast it’s not around for long, roll on the heady days of summer!
Till next time,
