Hope's 1st Birthday and 1st Blog!!

It’s hard to believe it has been 12 months since we launched Hope; the time has just flown by!

I would like to say a HUGE Thank You to those of you who signed up, purchased, purchased  again or have simply taken an interest in Hope- we are very grateful.

Many of you will know that I feel passionately about fashion for real women with real bodies and when we meet our customers at Hope at Home events it confirms that whatever our shape, size, age and ethnicity we want to be comfortable, confident and stylish. Which is why I am so pleased with the images for our Autumn/Winter 16 Collection.

We decided to take the bull by the horns and photograph the new collection on REAL WOMEN, all 19 of them including myself!! We got together over the course of 3 days, a lovely mix of family, friends and customers, ranging in age from 35 to 75, in height from 5’ to 6’1” and dress size 10 to 20. I have to tell you we had such fun, everyone went into hair and make-up, then played with the clothes to find something they liked (which didn’t take long!) and then we hit the catwalk! Our ‘models’ included the very lovely Nikki Garnett from ‘Mid Life Chic’ who wrote all about the experience on her blog.

What I hope the Real Women shoot achieves is to convey very clearly what Hope looks like on women of all shapes, sizes, heights and age. We are particularly thrilled by the examples of the same outfit worn by very different women with both of them looking Beautifully Confident.

Please let me know what you think, are we completely mad or does it help to imagine what the pieces might look like on you?? I would really love to know your thoughts.

Not only did we photograph all of this, but we filmed it too, so look out for a series of films that will be on our social media channels and website - see below our film on "The Hope Story".

One of the things I am most looking forward to about writing a blog (although I have to confess I am also terrified at the prospect of coming up with something every 2 weeks that you will find remotely interesting, so please wish me luck!) is that I finally have a forum to talk to you directly and more importantly for you to let me know your thoughts, not just about the blog but anything to do with Hope. Talk to me, I promise to reply to all your comments! Next time I will introduce to you to our Hope models.

Have a great couple of weeks and I do hope you love our 3rd collection.

Nayna X

  • All my beautiful garments arrived on Thursday and I wore them to work on Friday, fab fab. The foundation garments were like wearing a second skin that needs no adjusting. Lovely comments from clients and patients, I have your catalogue close to me and show this to all. Congrats on your blog, I will be following, looking for new collection and then placing another order. Thank you again.

    • Morning Paula, Thank you so much for your comments, you purchased one of my favourite outfits from the collection! We only recently started to put the catalogue into our parcels so it's great to hear that you are finding that useful too. New lines will be added over the coming weeks, if there is anything you have your eye on let me know and we'll send you an email when it's in. Have a lovely weekend,

  • I have bought 10 pieces in the last few weeks and I absolutely love them all and haven't had to return one item. The foundation wear is like a 2nd skin. It's all so comfortable and the style is edgy. Please add more lines soon .

We have a number of new lines to be added over the next few weeks, I do hope you like them. Have a lovely weekend, Nayna X
