Ready, Set, Spring!

We are delighted to have launched some of our New Spring Summer Collection this week and I don’t know about you but I feel ready for some colour in my life, it feels Winter has been hanging around forever!

We deliberately waited till March to launch newness because February is often so cold and bleak, makes you want to stay cocooned in your knitwear and layers of Foundation. Then as if to keep us on our toes we had the horrid snows and blizzards on the 1st March which I know is still going on in some parts of the country, stay warm.

Wherever you are I hope it starts to feel a little more Spring like soon, here at the Home of Hope we've been blessed with some sunshine this week which really does make you start to think about getting your toes out! I can’t wait for the clocks to go forward in a couple of weeks as for me that really signals a change in the season.

We have put together an edited collection for March i.e. things you can wear now and there is so much more to come; beautiful dresses and joyous prints to remind us of the sun and a new area for us, high quality jersey tops.

Some of my personal favourites from this first phase are the Comfort Pull on Panwhich I have to tell you are possibly the most comfortable trousers I have ever worn, they will definitely be a staple for me over the summer.

The Cashmere Pocket Poncho is simply gorgeous all the benefits of a poncho but you can move your arms, sounds ridiculous but I hope you know what I mean!

I'm also loving the new Foundation slips which we have re-styled to include a more flattering neckline and following feedback about them riding up we have made them longer so they sit more comfortably on the body.

On Sunday I am flying out to Chicago for a bit of a road trip, I am visiting our US wholesale customer and will be driving 500 miles from Chicago to Omaha visiting 3 stores along the way, it feels a bit like Thelma and Louise without Louise! I will be meeting lots of Sales Associates in store and holding Product Knowledge training sessions with them, so as you can imagine I will be ‘showcasing’ Hope all the way. Here are my 4 outfits for the trip!

Finally, I’d like to wish you all a wonderful Mother’s Day however you are spending it. As I will be sat on a plane for most of mine we’ve decided to have a Mothering Saturday Supper with Harvey, Arthur and Florence cooking for me, my Mum and Pauline. On Saturday afternoon, I am taking 'The Golden Girls' to a local National Trust Country House where we can have a wander round, enjoy some afternoon tea before we get back to be spoilt by the family, can’t wait.

Whatever you’re doing, please take some time out for you and enjoy the day, we deserve it!

Till next time,

p.s. Here's a sneak peek of what is coming later in the season...
